Sapphic friendships can get a little bit too intense. Some love stories are a little too twisted. And sometimes, the line between fantasy and reality disappears completely.
For this edition of OASE's weekly Filmclub, we're diving into the darker side of sapphic cinema. Expect obsessive friendships, secret fantasy worlds, forbidden feelings, teenage rebellion and a story that slowly turns from enchanting to deeply unsettling. Warning: this isn't exactly a feel-good Sunday movie. Can you guess the movie?
Join us for an afternoon of complex feelings, hosted by local lesbians in collaboration with Queer Events010 and Queer Rotterdam. The film club starts straight after Queer Sunday Café (join here), so make a whole queer Sunday out of it. Come for a chat, stay for the movie, and maybe leave with a few things to discuss.
